This morning we visited the medieval town of Tratalias. In the 1950s a dam built near the town caused moisture to seep into its houses. The residents had to move, building a new town not far away.
The remaining buildings are now being used by artists for their studios. The town, now bereft of residents, provides a look into a midieval Sardinian village.
The Romanesque cathedral was built in 1213 in the Pisan style.
